subsidiary of the Alex Lowe Charitable Foundation. Founded by Conrad Anker and Jenni Lowe Anker, KCC's mission is to increase the safety margin of high altitude workers in the Himalaya. Its vocational training focuses on mountaineering, ice climbing, rescues, medical aid, environmental mountain science, and english language. In Phortse, Nepal I conducted oral history interviews and portraits of KCC’s Nepalese / Sherpa instructors. I also photographed the training season for donor partners, restarted / managed the KCC social media channels, and managed a web developer to revamp the ALCF home page. In April 2017 I organized a fundraiser in the Bay Area with Alex Honnold and Conrad Anker, raising $50,000.
